Our Services

  • A medical initial consultation is a meeting between a patient and our nurse practitioner for the first time to discuss the patient's health concerns and medical history. During an initial consultation, the provider will typically ask the patient questions about their symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and any previous treatments. This information is used to help the healthcare provider determine the cause of the patient's symptoms and develop a plan for further evaluation and treatment, if necessary. An initial consultation typically includes a physical examination, and the healthcare provider may order diagnostic tests or refer the patient to a specialist as needed. The goal of an initial consultation is to gather information to accurately diagnose and treat the patient's health concerns. It is important for the patient to be fully honest and transparent with the healthcare provider during the consultation to ensure the best possible outcome.

  • Joint injections are medical procedures in which medication is injected directly into a joint to relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation. The injections can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and bursitis, among others. The medication used in joint injections can vary, but common options include corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid, and anesthetic agents. Joint injections can provide quick and effective pain relief and can help improve joint function and mobility. The procedure is typically performed using a local anesthetic to numb the area, and the injection itself is relatively quick and minimally invasive. However, as with any medical procedure, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the appropriateness of joint injections for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use.

  • Trigger point injections are a type of interventional pain management procedure that involves injecting a small amount of anesthetic or corticosteroid into a muscle "trigger point." Trigger points are tight knots of muscle that can cause pain and discomfort when they are touched or when they refer pain to other parts of the body. The injection of anesthetic or corticosteroid into the trigger point helps to relax the muscle and relieve the pain. Trigger point injections can be used to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck and back pain, fibromyalgia, and myofascial pain syndrome. The procedure is typically performed by a doctor or other healthcare professional, and it is usually done in a medical office or clinic setting.

  • B12 injections are a form of vitamin B12 supplementation that involves administering the vitamin directly into the body, typically into a muscle. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that is important for proper functioning of the brain and nervous system, as well as for the formation of red blood cells. Some people may be unable to absorb sufficient amounts of vitamin B12 from their diet, leading to a deficiency, which can cause a range of symptoms including fatigue, weakness, and nerve damage. B12 injections can be used to quickly and effectively treat a vitamin B12 deficiency, as the injections bypass the need for the vitamin to be absorbed through the digestive system. B12 injections are typically administered by a healthcare professional, and it is important to consult with a doctor to determine the appropriateness of B12 injections for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use.

  • A medical prescription can be used in conjunction with other therapies to provide shorter recovery time, pain relief and decrease inflammation if deemed necessary. Typical prescriptions used in our office may include, but are not limited to: muscle relaxers, anti inflammatories, oral steroids, and more. A full medical evaluation will be performed to determine the individual needs.

  • Therapeutic Botox is the use of Botox for medical purposes beyond its cosmetic applications. One of the most common therapeutic uses of Botox is to treat migraines and bruxism (teeth grinding). For migraines, Botox is injected into specific muscles in the head and neck to help prevent headache pain. The theory behind using Botox for migraines is that by relaxing the muscles, it reduces the frequency and intensity of migraines. For bruxism, Botox is injected into the jaw muscles to relax them and reduce teeth grinding and clenching. Bruxism can cause discomfort, jaw pain, and even damage to the teeth. Therapeutic Botox has been shown to be effective in reducing the frequency and severity of migraines and bruxism in many individuals. However, as with any medical treatment, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine its appropriateness for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use.

  • Cosmetic Botox is a type of injectable treatment that uses a form of botulinum toxin to temporarily relax the muscles in the face. The treatment is commonly used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, especially in the forehead and around the eyes. The injections work by blocking the nerve impulses that cause muscle contraction, which in turn softens the appearance of dynamic wrinkles that form when a person makes facial expressions. Botox is a popular cosmetic treatment due to its ability to produce noticeable results with minimal downtime. The effects of Botox typically last 3-6 months, after which the treatment can be repeated as needed.

  • Botox for lip flip is a cosmetic procedure that involves injecting a small amount of Botox into the upper lip to create a temporary "flip" or upward roll to the lip. The procedure works by relaxing the muscles that pull the lip downward, giving the appearance of a fuller, more defined upper lip. Botox for lip flip is a non-invasive procedure that does not require any incisions or downtime, and the effects typically last for 3-6 months. While Botox for lip flip is generally considered safe and effective, as with any medical procedure, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine its appropriateness for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use.

  • Chiropractic adjustments, also known as spinal manipulations, are a common treatment method used by chiropractors to help alleviate pain and improve overall health. The goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore proper movement and alignment to the joints of the body, particularly in the spine.

  • Electric Muscle Stimulation - a technology that uses electrical impulses to stimulate the muscles and create contractions. It is used for various purposes such as physical therapy, athletic training, pain management, and rehabilitation. The electrical impulses are delivered through electrodes placed on the skin near the target muscle group. The stimulation causes the muscles to contract, which can help improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion. It is also sometimes used for cosmetic purposes, such as improving muscle tone.

  • Lumbar decompression tables are medical devices used to relieve lower back pain. They work by stretching the lower back and spine, which can help relieve pressure on the nerves and spinal discs. The table has a flat surface where the person lies down, and a mechanism that gently pulls on the legs or lower back, creating traction. This can help alleviate symptoms such as sciatica, herniated discs, and degenerative disc disease. Lumbar traction can be performed manually or with the use of a machine, and is usually done under the guidance of a physical therapist or chiropractor.

  • Cervical decompression tables are medical devices used to relieve pressure on the cervical spine, or neck, and alleviate symptoms such as neck pain, headaches, and radiating arm pain. These tables use traction and stretching to create more space between the cervical vertebrae and reduce pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots. They can be used as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with other forms of physical therapy or medical treatment.

  • G5 massage is a type of deep tissue massage therapy that uses a mechanical device to provide high-speed vibrations to the muscles. The device, known as a G5 massager, uses a rapidly oscillating head to deliver the vibrations. This form of therapy is often used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as chronic pain, sports injuries, and muscle tension. The G5 massage is intended to increase blood flow, relieve tension, and improve range of motion. It can also be used to enhance relaxation and reduce stress levels. However, as with any therapeutic modality, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine whether G5 massage is appropriate for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use of the treatment.

  • Therapeutic ultrasound is a type of physical therapy that uses high-frequency sound waves to treat a variety of conditions. The sound waves generate heat and vibrations that can penetrate deep into the tissues, increasing circulation and promoting tissue healing. The therapy is commonly used to relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and improve range of motion. It can also be used to stimulate bone growth and to promote wound healing. The therapy is typically delivered using a handheld device that emits the sound waves, which are aimed at the affected area. Therapeutic ultrasound is generally considered safe and non-invasive, but as with any medical treatment, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine its appropriateness for a specific individual's needs and to ensure safe and effective use.

  • Physical therapy is a type of healthcare that uses a variety of techniques to help patients recover from injury or illness, relieve pain, and improve physical function and mobility. Physical therapists (PTs) use exercise, manual therapy, assistive devices, and other modalities to help patients regain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Physical therapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, arthritis, stroke, and spinal cord injury, among others. Physical therapy can be used as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other forms of medical treatment, and the goal is to help patients return to their daily activities as soon as possible, while also reducing the risk of future injury or exacerbation of symptoms.

  • The Shape weight loss program is a comprehensive program that aims to help individuals achieve their weight loss goals through a combination of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. The program typically includes a personalized nutrition plan, an exercise regimen, and support from healthcare professionals, such as dietitians and personal trainers. The program may also include tools and resources to help individuals track their progress, such as food and exercise journals, and regular check-ins with a coach or mentor. The goal of the Shape weight loss program is to help individuals make sustainable changes to their diet and exercise habits that lead to long-term weight loss and improved health. The specific components of the program may vary depending on the provider and the individual's needs and goals. It is always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any weight loss program.
